This workshop focuses on how persons of Christian faith relate to persons loyal to other diverse religions, when all are intent to share, listen and learn in order to enhance respect and understanding while avoiding harm. Time will be given to presentation and discussion of case situations, with special attention to Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism.
Dorothy Yoder Nyce is a life-long Mennonite with current membership at Eighth Street Mennonite Church, Goshen, Indiana, USA. She is a retired teacher and has written numerous articles and books. Her DMin degree focused on interreligious dialogue and was prompted from having lived in India eight times. She is the parent of two adult daughters; her husband and hospitality partner is John.
